Dressing up fiasco :)

Aryan was dressing himself up and did not open the top button of shirt and did not even realize it.
And while tucking the shirt in the pants , he was frustrated since he could not understand why it was short :)

By the way ..the guy recently started owning his own disney fame deo and talc , inspired by his dear dad and Anirudh bhaiya :)

Papa Car , Aryan Car , pike pike , peeko peeko

He is fascinated about cars and wants to drive one as soon as possible. All his games and talks revolve around cars these days. He is so much into it that I cannot explain that in words.

Today morning soon after bath when he is just in towel:

Aryan : "Main papa car drive karoonga" (one of his most commom ask these days)
Me : "No Aryan , aap abhi bahut chote ho , pehle papa jaise big ho jao , tab papa car chalana"
(now some tricks) "Aryan aapko pata hai , agar aap school jaoge , toh new things seekhoge , aur jaldi se bade ho jaoge"
Aryan : "Anirudh Jaise"
(YEAH ..He does call him "Anirudh" at times , while if I call him "Anirudh" I get a scolding ,"Mumma Anirudh nahi kehte , bolo ANIRUDH BHAIYA")
Me : "Haan Anirudh Bhaiya jaise"
Aryan : "Main pike-pike karoonga"
(Pike-Pike is the sound that comes when we unlock the car , you know the sound of center locking)
Me : "Ok"
Aryan : " gimme menote" (give me remote) " papaaaa ..gimme pike pike menote"
Papa : "ok" (gets the remote and hands over to Aryan


These days every evening Aryan , Mumma and Mickey mouse (MM) (an ugly old mickey mouse soft toy that Aryan loves for God knows why) go "ghumma" (outing) in Aryan's car.
And the role play fever has gone to next level.

Aryan : "Mumma Mickey mouse Aryan hai" (mickey mouse is Aryan) "Mumma Mickey mouse main papa"
Me : "You are papa of mickey mouse"
Aryan : "yes"
Aryan : "Mumma baitho , ghumma jayenge , Aryan car" Needless to say I am Aryan's mom ..thankfully :)
Me : "Kahan jayenge"
Aryan : " Subji wala" (Vegetable shop / supermarket)
Me : ok (I stand behind his pedal car , coz its too small for me to sit :P)
Aryan : "Mumma mickey mouse ko toh le aao"
I follow the instruction
Aryan : "Main door kholta hoon" , pretends to open car door and I make MM sit in the car.
Aryan : "peeko peeko taai tai , peeko peeko taai tai,peeko peeko taai tai"
This is car in reverse gear , the sound is of reverse gear horn , as it comes from his Nanu (my father's car).
He drives thr in reverse , watching sides like his dad , turns it and then says ,
"Mumma baitho"

I stand at the back of car and move as the car moves and we reach subzi wala , which is a nearby table or chair.

Aryan : "Mumma aap Mickey mouse ko le lo , main park karta hoon. peeko peeko tai tai "
Aryan : "Mumma tomato le lo"
Me : "Uncle tomato dena , 1 kg" , carry a virtual carry bag and come back
Aryan :" Mumma , paise toh do"
I give virtual money
Aryan : "Main boot kholta hoon"
Pretends to open car boot , with a spare keys that he consider his car keys
I keep virtual vegetable bags in boot , he closes the boot , locks it and we come home.



I hope you get the drift. We do go to buy clothes for MM too :)

The ways you love ..

..Not just me , not your papa , but all the near and dear ones..

You still remember your dadi fell down around 1.5 years back in bath room and hurt her back a little. You still kisses her back to sooth when she comes.

You still remember that your nani had a fracture in wrist and you talk to her about it every now and then.

You point to kids on TV and on road who have little resemblance to Anirudh or your other cousins.

You miss your Bua and didi for days, when you meet them once in few months and you always remember the ways you played with them.

You want to visit your dadi and taiji each time you see an aeroplane.

You would suddenly start talking to your cousins , imagining them around you, when they are 2500 kms apart.

You would want to talk your dadi and nanu on phone almost every day and would share the details of your school and creche with them, also would narrate ABCD and all the knowledge that you have accquired.

You would want to talk to all the relatives over the phone , every once in a while, when neither they nor you would know what to talk. You would still feel happy to listen to their voices.

You would suddenly gel with certain people whom you never met and will talk about them for days after meeting them.

You are attached to all the kids and maids in day care and remember tiny details of how they talk or how they say certain words and would tell those to me.

You would love the way your dadu calls you "beti" , dadi calls you "betu" , mumma calls you "beta" , papa says "yes beta" and nanu says "mera bacha".

You would remember the compliment your nani gives , "Aryan is a good boy" and say it in her accent.

You would miss your toys , especially engine and car , while on vacation.

You would jump at the site of your previous house and say "Old Ghar Jana Hai".

You would tell me , that though you enjoy the school , you still want to stay with mumma and papa.

I failed to record all this last year , better late then never :-)

Aryan received his first letter

Aryan received his first letter from Big Bro Anirudh yesterday!

His reaction when I told him , was a BIG SMILE ! Then he grabbed the letter and I read it to him. Then he said "Mici aaouse" and then he tried to scratch the micky and I took the letter away to preserve it. Will show him when he can also read!
